Here at RYNO Print & Design, we do our very best to ensure the quality of our print products. We have provided some helpful information below on making sure your product looks as professional as possible!
File Formats
PDFs are the best format for you to provide your artwork, please make sure your images are at least 300dpi and all colors are correct. We also accept artwork in below file formats:
Please be aware that files from the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher) are not designed for commercial printing.
Colors Mode
Create your file in CMYK Mode and convert all embedded images to CMYK.
Fonts
When supplying a PDF file, all the fonts should be embedded, and only correctly licensed fonts should be used. If supplying original artwork all the font files must be included within a clearly marked folder within the main artwork folder.
Page/Print Size
Please set up the page size of your document at the exact size that you wish your job to print. Do not supply artwork floating on a larger page or include multiple items on the same page.
Bleed
If your design includes color or images which are printed up to the edge of the page, please provide 1/8″ or 0.125″ of additional artwork on all 4 sides. This is called a bleed. Bleed avoids the risk of white edges on your work. (See the example image below)
Crop Marks/Trimming Line
Show us the edge of your work so we know exactly where to trim it. (If you have no corp marks on your artwork, no worries we can take care of that in print production)
Safe Area
Keep critical elements and text inside the safe zone. Any content within 1/8′′ of the trim line during the cutting process may be removed due to mechanical tolerance.
What is a digital PDF Proof?
To allow you to review your print design files for specifics like trim lines and folding lines etc before we print your order, we produce a PDF Proof document at your request.
Do you check my artwork for probable spelling errors?
No. Text and art will not be altered by us. We only address technical problems with prints that are present in your file
How long does it take to prepare a PDF proof? and will it delay my order?
A PDF proof that you request will be available within 24-36 hours of your order being placed. Once your proof is prepared, an email will be sent to you as a notification. In order for us to continue processing your order, you must approve your proof by replying to that email. Once a proof is approved, Your order will be queued for printing.
What if the client finds a problem with their PDF proof?
If your proof requires changes/corrections, you can request a new proof/or submit new files. email back on the proof email and let us know that problem and we will send you a new PDF digital proof for your approval. If we find problems with the files that were submitted we will call/email you to discuss a solution in such situations.
We accept all files electronically. we recommend using our online Client Area to ‘Upload Your Artwork’ below:
Alternatively you can send us your file(s) on a memory stick, CD or use an online file transfer platform such as ‘WeTransfer’ (The transfer completion time depends on the speed of your internet connection and the file size).
